Nottingham Cultural Framework (Nottingham Strategic Cultural Partnership, Nottingham City Council, Arts Council England)
Bird & Gorton worked with the people and businesses of Nottingham to research and design a 10-year Cultural Statement and Framework (2017-2027) for the city of Nottingham, England. Through a design thinking process, we co-produced a cultural vision, objectives and delivery toolkit with dozens of stakeholders across museums and arts organisations as well as hundreds of members of the public.
Lifting the Lid on the Creative and Cultural Industries (Midlands 3 Cities AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership)
We work with Midlands 3 Cities to design, develop and deliver an annual training and support programme for PhD students to develop their skills for creative employment and research collaboration. Midlands 3 Cities is a consortium of 6 universities; University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University, University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University, University of Leicester, Leicester DeMontfort University.
Leaders for Impact (Royal Opera House Bridge)
Bird & Gorton work with educators and cultural specialists at the Royal Opera House to design and run Leaders for Impact, an intensive, competitive leadership development programme for senior teachers and leaders in cultural learning.
